competing
in the
La Ruta de los Conquestadores, an insane,
coast to coast mountain bike race.Monte has been training very hard for many months for this, the most challenging bike race of his life. We at MHH are very proud of him and sent him off with some much needed “emergency supplies” of Ben Gay, ace bandages, band-aids, first aid kits and such. We hope he won’t need any of it!
We’re hoping the race website will post the riders’ progress each night, but we’re not sure. The first stage of the race kicks off Wednesday morning. Here’s a link to the route map. We will post the other stages on our MHH blog on the morning that he starts each one. We hope you will follow along and send Monte positive thoughts this week!

Smoke
Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors can save lives,
but ONLY IF the batteries are fresh and the units are
working. It's time to change the batteries!
Yes, your smoke detectors are hard-wired, but they also
have battery backups in case the power goes out. Show
them the love with fresh batteries!
