We prove this through our commitment to building energy-efficient homes and our participation in the EarthCraft House program. At MHH, we build energy-efficieny into all of our homes in many ways. Some examples include: the installation of ENERGY STAR appliances, energy-efficient insulation and superior framing and sealing techniques. 

Any custom home can be built to meet EarthCraft standards of construction. EarthCraft House is a voluntary, "green" program that promotes the building of environmentally friendly homes. By following EarthCraft's guidelines for site planning, the installation of energy-saving equipment, waste management and more, Monte Hewett is able to construct solid, quality residences that work to protect natural resources. Each home built must pass a final, third-party inspection before given the EarthCraft seal. What's more, because they are built to be durable, high-performance and resource efficient, EarthCraft homes can save homeowners up to 30% in energy costs!
